Here are quotes from some of our mare owner clients: "Dear Deb & Dave, Ice Man's Black Pearl is doing wonderful. She looks more and more like her daddy with every month that passes. I can hardly believe she is 8 months old already. She is quickly becoming becoming an adolescent rather than a baby. I still cannot get over what a lover she is!! She could stand and be groomed for hours. She loves it. She never misses an opportunity to snuggle and give kisses." Sincerely, Crystal (in Montana)
"Deb and Dave, Just wanted to tell you thanks for the ad on your website. I really do appreciate all you've done!!! You wouldn't believe how HUGE Lexi has gotten. She is now 14.3HH at only 8 months old and gets even more gorgeous every day. She has sooo much mane and tail like her daddy (and mommy). I love it! She looks very Friesian. Her attitude is all Friesian too. When you said that what you breed into a horse, takes away from what you need to train/teach them... that couldn't be more true. Every time I try to teach her something new, she does it the first time I ask her and never gives me a problem. I had the bit in her mouth the other day and she took it the first time and never protested. Anyway, she's wonderful. Forgive me if I've already asked this of you, but could please email me a breeding contract for this coming spring. I think I'd like to try Friso this time. Also, congrats on your new coming stallion Jacob. He's gorgeous too." Talk to you later, Marieta (in Michigan)
Q/A about our Stallions: 1. Are our stallions Dutch-bred? Yes. Dutch Bred, Dutch Keured, and Imported from Holland 2. What were our stallion's Keuring ratings? 1st Premium Grand Champion (Ice Man), 1st Premium (Friso the Magnificent), & 2nd Premium (Jacob the Majestic). The very best Friesian stallions receive the 1st or 2nd Premium rating on natural conformation and movement. 3. What are our stallion's motility scores? Semen motility & extended motility ratings are crucial to success in the artificial insemination process. Our stallions average 78% - 92% motility scores! This is a major reason why the majority of our customer's mares are successfully inseminated on the first and only insemination needed. 4. Why is it important to choose a farm that has more than one stallion? Having back up stallions is important in case a stallion is injured, over booked, or just doesn't collect for some reason the day that you need a shipment. Farms with only one stallion may not be able to insure that your needs will be met when you need a collection. 5. Why is it important that our stallions are HOMOZYGOUS BLACK? Our stallions will NOT throw the red gene, therefore, according to the color genes of your mare, your Friesian cross foals will be black, bay, or gray... with whatever white/pattern your mare throws. Oh, and the occasional buckskin by Palomino mares.
